Interiors Joan & Associates is excited to share our latest room makeover! This basement had serious potential that simply needed a little revealing.

First, we created a new focal point with a linear fireplace design. The flanking built-in cabinetry creates infinitely more space. Then we added floating shelves with built-in under-shelf lighting to highlight their accessories and create artistic shadows.  A soffit was also added to create architectural interest and another opportunity for lighting.

And not to be forgotten in a basement living room, the television was wall-mounted to eliminate the bulky entertainment stand and improve the viewing angle for everyone in the room.  A few pieces of furniture were added to complete the new look.
