How was your interest in design sparked?
It’s difficult to identify a specific inspiration as I have had an interest in art and the creative fields for as long as I can remember. As a partner with Interiors Joan and Associates, I am a graduate of the University of Nebraska Omaha with over 30 years of experience in the industry. In addition to a multitude of design projects, I do much of the buying for the firm as well as developing our resource libraries.

What is your favorite spot in your own home?
Our family room! It’s great for gathering, lounging and enjoying our lake view.
